A Few Words from our Headteacher

Welcome to The FitzWimarc School website.

We are proud of the school's standing in the community and its reputation as a centre of excellence in so many aspects of education. Equally, we are proud of the trust thousands of parents have placed in us over the years to educate and care for their children.

We are a happy school with a staff dedicated to bringing out the best in every individual in our care and instilling in each pupil a real sense of belonging. We do that by providing high standards of teaching and first-class facilities, many of which we have funded or part-funded through the efforts of the staff, parents, pupils and our numerous local supporters. We are also an open school, ensuring that parents have quick and easy access to us at all times. While we are naturally intent on pupils passing as many examinations as they can, we also place great emphasis on teaching life skills so the pupils enter adulthood as caring and considerate members of the community.
